T-1201 Metal passivator (N, N’ di salicylic propane diamine)

DESCRIPTION

This product has good oil solubility, and can form Chelates with active metal ions (copper, iron, nickel, manganese). It can inhibit the catalysis of metal ion to oil products, and when using in oil products, it can extend the storage period of oil products and reduce the production of gum. This product is suitable to be used as metal deactivator of gasoline, Jet fuel, lubricant, and often has recombination action with oxidant, for example: when combining with T501, blending and adding into motor gasoline, it can improve the antioxidant effect of T501, and reduce the consumption of T501.

Reference dosage

The reference dosage in oil products should be 1-5ppm.

The product should be packed, marked, stored, transported and accepted on delivery according to SH/T0164. The highest temperature should not exceed 75 ºC. It is nonflammable, non-explosive and in-corrosive. For long term storage, the temperature should not exceed 45 ºC.
